This stamp presentation set extended the theme and proved ideal promotion. The images convey a joyful spirit, providing Jersey with one of it's most effective tourist campaigns.

Edward Bawden
Edward Bawden (1903 – 1989) was a British painter, illustrator and graphic artist who is famous for his prints, book covers, posters & wallpapers. It's his prints that I'm really interested in though being from a printmaking background myself. His block prints are nothing short of impressive with his London and Brighton prints being especially strong works. This London Markets series from 1967 in particular caught my eye with their attention to detail and bold geometric compositions.

AJ Fosik
I'm loving the work of American artist AJ Fosik. His strikingly original & beautiful wood sculptures of are amazing. With a street art background his work mixes bright colours and strong sense of pattern with varied influences including folk art and Indian deity imagery.
Also check out this short documentary of his work.

Kim Høltermand
Kim Høltermand is a Danish photographer who's main focus is on architecture. With a very sensitive colour palette his dramatic photographs have a very graphic & abstract quality and the atmospheric way in which he shoots his subject seems to turn the banal sublime.

Stamps
Some great stamps by Israeli artist and designer Eliezer Weishoff. Released in 1975 these timeless designs are as effective and as relevant today as back then.
